AutoAuth 1 year license

Starting in 2018, FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), manufacturer of the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Fiat brands, limited access to its OBD port using the Security Gateway Module (SGW) security system.

Other manufacturers that started using SGW are Nissan starting with 2021 models and later.

Due to the new requirement, only registered and certified scanners will be able to access the OBD ports of vehicles produced in 2018 for FCA and 2021 for Nissan.

Devices such as Launch and Autel , among others, already have this technology, so they can be registered and connected via SGW.

Functions upon acquiring access (SGW).

• Clear continuous and pending DTCs.
• All actuator and memory functions such as: calibrations, learning and actuator testing.

Without this license, access will be limited, so we strongly recommend obtaining one if you regularly work with these vehicle brands.
